The book swap is now open during regular business hours!

Only plastics #1-#2 with lids removed are being accepted.
Weather Closings:
In the winter season, cold weather, ice, snow and freezing rain may make use of our sites difficult. If this is the case, we may be closed. The Solid Waste District USUALLY follows the same delays and closings as the schools. We will close at any time that weather is deemed to be unsafe for site customers or staff. Please call the office to check on possible closings.
Trash Disposal
All three of our sites have dumpsters. This is a fee-based service offered for your convenience.
Bag of regular household trash: $1.25 per bag (up to 30 gallon bag)
Heavy or oversized bags: $2 per bag
Additionally, we take large items such as mattresses, couches, and construction/remodeling debris for a fee. You may contact our office for estimated pricing.
Occasionally our dumpsters get full during the day. In this case you may be asked to go to another site or to come back another day. If you have a truckload or large items, you may want to call the office in advance to ask if the dumpster will hold your load.
Items NOT acceptable in our dumpsters:
Natural items such as tree limbs and leaves
Household Hazardous Waste (can be recycled)
Electronics and Appliances (can be recycled)
Tires (can be recycled)
Hazardous substances such as asbestos (call us for information on disposal options)
